【摘要】:BS7666-4specifiesdatatoberecordedforpublicrightsofwayinEnglandandWales.NOTE1Thestandardisapplicableinprincipletoothercountriesandregionsbutmayrequiremodificationtoaccommodatelocalrequirements,suchasgridreferencinginNorthernIreland.Thestandardspecifieswaysofreferencingapublicrightofwaysothatdatacanbeaccessedbyname,description,routenumberoruniquereference.Italsospecifiesthemeansofrepresentingitsspatiallocation.Aformatisalsospecifiedintheformofalogicaldatamodelforrecordingasetofotherrelateddatasuchasthesurveyingauthorityandtheeventhistory.Thisstandardspecifieswhatneedstoberecordedforassessingorverifyingthequalityofthedata.NOTE2AchecklistforverificationofconformityisgiveninAnnexA.Morespecifically,BS7666-4specifiestheform,contentandinternalrelationshipsofaspatialdata-setforgeographicalreferencingofPROWsto:a)optimizetheuseofresourcesinvolvedinthedesign,compilationanduseofsuchdata-sets;b)permitthereadyexchangeandaggregationofsuchdata-setsfromseveralsources;c)facilitatethedesignofcommoninformationsystems,whichmaybedatabasesorGeographicInformationSystems;d)enabledifferentusersofthesamedatatouseitwithconsistencyofcontent,accuracy,currencyandformat.PROWsdefinedwithinrelevantparliamentaryactsarethosemaintainedbyhighwayauthoritiesinthedischargeoftheirstatutoryduties.ThisstandardisthereforedirectedtowarddevelopersandusersofPROWspatialdata-setsintheirprofessionalwork,suchasthoseworkingwithinleisureandrecreationalmanagementorlocallandcharges,orthosewithotherinterestsinpublicrightsofwaygenerally.
