【摘要】:ThepurposeofthisTechnicalReportistoprovideageneralframeworkfordiscussingcharactersandglyphs.Theframeworkisapplicabletoavarietyofcodedcharactersetsandglyph-identificationschemes.Forillustration,thisTechnicalReportusesex-amplesfromcharacterscodedinISO/IEC10646andglyphsregisteredaccordingtoISO/IEC10036.ThisTechnicalReport—differentiatesbetweencodedcharac-tersandregisteredglyphs—identifiesthedomainofuseofcodedcharactersandglyphidentifiers—providesaconceptualframeworkfortheformattingandpresentationofcodedcharacterdatausingglyphiden-tifiersandglyphrepresentationsThisTechnicalReportdescribesidealizedprinciplesthatwerenotcompletelyfollowedincodingcharactersforISO/IEC10646andinregisteringglyphsaccordingtoISO/IEC10036.ThefactthatISO/IEC10646,ISO/IEC10036,andotherstandardsdonotcompletelyfollowtheprinciplesinthemodeldoesnotinvalidatethemodelanddoesnotdiminishtheutilityofhavingthemodel.
