【摘要】:Thesetestmethodsmaybeusedtomeasuretheequipmentperformance.Thesetestmethodsareapplicablewhentheconveyingequipmentisofsufficientlengthandisaccessiblefortakingthesamplesandmeasuringthespeed,orwhenthedischargeisaccessibletocollectasampleinagivenlengthoftime.Notallpiecesofequipmentinaprocessingplantmaybeaccessible;therefore,theinputortotalofinputstoadjacentupstreamequipment/outputortotalofoutputsofadjacentdownstreamequipmentmaybeusedtodeterminethethroughputoftheconveyingequipmentinquestion.Judgementmustbeusedtodetermineanylossofmaterialorchangesinbulkdensity.1.1Thesetestmethodsincludedescriptionsforconductingandreportingthroughputandelectricalpowertestsonmechanicalconveyingequipmentformunicipalsolidwasteandrecoveredproductsfromresourcerecoverysystems.Otheraspectsofperformancetestingsuchasspillage,conveyortracking,dusting,slippage,transferpoints,etc.,shouldbeconsideredintheinterpretationoftheresults.Thesetestmethodscanbeusedonequipmenthandlingrawrefuse,processedrefuse,magneticscrapmetals,nonferrousscrapmetals,mixedglass,andresiduesortailings.Thesetestmethodsmayalsobeusedformaterialsinotherindustries.1.2Thesetestmethodscovermechanicalconveyingequipmentincludingapron,belt,drag,flight,screw,slat,andvibratingconveyorsandbucketelevators.1.3Thesetestmethodsareapplicablespecificallytotheresourcerecoveryindustrysincemunicipalsolidwastesareheterogeneousmixturesandthecompositionandbulkdensitiesvaryconsiderablydependingonmanyfactors.Becauseofthevaryingcompositionofmunicipalsolidwaste,anumberofsamplesmustbetakentodetermineaccuratelytheperformanceofthemechanicalconveyingequipment.1.4Testmethodsfordeterminingtheapproximateas-conveyedbulkdensityofthematerialandfordeterminingtheelectricalhorsepowerinputoftheequipmentmotorsarealsoincluded.1.5Itisintendedthatthetestsbemadeandreportedbypersonneltrainedintheproperapplicationanduseofthevariousinstrumentsandmethodsinvolved.1.6ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forhazardstatement,seeSection.
